The Nordic TSOs are continuously evaluating the Nordic capacity markets for aFRR and mFRR with the purpose to improve the existing set-up as well as preparing the Nordic market set-up for mandatory European harmonization.
In this process the Nordic TSOs ask for the involvement of market participants to get inputs on the preferred way forward for specific improvement areas. This consultation is thus an informal process to collect inputs from market participants in an early phase of the development process.
The consultation material contains a set of specific questions, that the Nordic TOSs would very much appreciate answered. Market participants are also very welcome to comment on other things than the specific questions.

Nordic TSOs invite to an online session regarding the informal public consultation in the Nordic aFRR and mFRR capacity markets, which will take place on 20 August 2025 from 12:00-13:00 CET.
The session will be a Q&A-session, where market participants can address and ask questions to the informal consultation material. The session will not go thoroughly through the published consultation material.
