Discussion paper on imbalance pricing published – feedback and input welcomed by 1 January 2020
On 2 October, it was informed that The Nordic Balancing Steering Committee (NBSC) proposed to introduce the single balance – single imbalance price model in Q2/2021.
This is based on an assumption in which a dual imbalance price model can be applied on imbalance settlement periods with divergent balancing directions. This discussion paper – Nordic TSOs discussion paper on imbalance pricing - opens for a dialogue with stakeholders on how a methodology with dual pricing may be designed.
Feedback and input to the discussion paper is welcomed and can be sent to the following e-mail address: . Please write “Feedback/input to Nordic TSO’s discussion paper on imbalance pricing” in the subject of the e-mail.
Feedback and input to the paper is received preferably as soon as possible, and at the latest by 1 January 2020.
