Automated operation of mFRR Energy Activation Market needs to be postponed

The NBM program have assessed the risks of deployment of mFRR EAM (“automated operation”) planned for November 2022, resulting in a need to postpone the go-live of mFRR EAM automated operation.

The delay is mainly due to increased local IT development needs, which will cause a delay in processes connected to, for example, training of operators and preparation for go-live.

The priority and main goal until mid-February is to analyse different scenarios and find solutions with the least possible negative impacts on market participants and the next milestones in the roadmap.

Communication with market parties and regulators is very important when analysing different scenarios and when setting a new go-live date.

Please follow the progress and any changes to the NBM roadmap at the NBM and TSO webs.
