Option space for future imbalance pricing in the Nordics – informal feedback and input welcomed
As a follow-up to the webinar on future imbalance pricing the 8. February 2023, we are now publishing a document describing the option space for future imbalance pricing in the Nordics.
The purpose of the document is to introduce the topic to all interested stakeholders and to serve as background knowledge for stakeholders to give informal feedback or input to the Nordic TSOs regarding the future imbalance pricing design to be implemented in the Nordic countries once they are connected to MARI and PICASSO. It is important to note, that the Nordic TSOs have not yet made a proposal on how the imbalance pricing design in the future should be. The design work is currently ongoing and is now open for informal stakeholder feedback and input until Tuesday 16. May 2023. Please see the document for details on how to give informal feedback or input.
The Nordic TSOs are working on establishing a final design proposal and start of official consultation process after summer.
